Harris’ abstract process is improvisational, with the intent to explore color relationships and spatial oddities. She distorts human-like figures and facial structures to explore the meanings implied by the movement of the body. The ambiguity of her work is intentional and she is intrigued by the way the mind imbues form with meaning. Harris’ work has been displayed in a number of shows in the Washington D.C area since 2015 at venues including Studio Gallery and The Howard Theater.
