Mills Brown is a collage artist working in Washington DC. Her work considers themes of girlhood, sacred space, community, fairytales and her childhood home in South Carolina. She’s interested in adding a sculptural element to many of her collages, often starting with found objects collected from Park View and surrounding neighborhoods. In 2017 Mills received her MFA in Studio Art from American University. She has upcoming shows at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop and IA&A at Hillyer.
