Avena was born and raised in Florida. After graduating with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with a focus in Graphic Design in 2013 from the University of North Florida, she moved to Washington, DC and has been living and designing in DC ever since. She is a multi-faceted artist including painting with oil and watercolor.

Elizabeth Piper Board
Elizabeth Piper Board is a visual and verbal artist living and working in the Washington DC area. She works at George Mason University as a photographer and has a shared studio space on campus to work on her projects. While photographic methods are common in her work and she studies photography, she regularly uses painting, collage, embroidery and video to express herself visually. Her work has been shown at The Watergate Gallery, Olly Olly and the Arts Walk at Monroe Street Market as part of FotoWeekDC. She is currently preparing for her solo show at Olly Olly this summer.
Originally from Philadelphia, Bradbury is a mixed media artist in DC who loves chance operations and happenstance and finding obscure beauty in things. She spends her days hanging with pediatric rehab kiddos trying to make their hospital stay a little more fun and enjoyable.

Laura Belle Brown

Brown is a collage artist working in Washington, DC. Her work considers themes of girlhood, sacred space, community, fairytales and her childhood home in South Carolina. She’s interested in adding a sculptural element to many of her collages, often starting with found objects collected from Park View and surrounding neighborhoods. In 2017 Mills received her MFA in Studio Art from American University. She has upcoming shows at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop and IA&A at Hillyer.
